As a Pool Service Tech you play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities involve effective communication, collaboration, and proactive follow- up. Let’s delve into the details:

Experience: Knowledge of Pools and American Sale offerings a Plus- MUST have a valid and clear Driver’s License. Let dive in to the details! 

• Customer Service Excellence
  • Deliver outstanding service by creating a friendly environment, greeting every customer, and maintaining high standards and solid product knowledge.
  • Evaluate customer satisfaction, gather feedback to improve service, and promptly communicate concerns to management.
  • Demonstrate general product knowledge and promote additional services or products.
• Attendance & Professionalism
  • Consistently arrive on time and as scheduled.
  • Maintain high energy, adaptability, and a positive attitude, even in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Technical Expertise & Safety
  • Possess thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic tools.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including programmable and numerical controls, power supplies, and gauges.
  • Read service/work orders and manufacturer instructions to guide repair work.
  • Plan and execute work based on mechanical and electrical theory, codes, and specifications.
  • Install, start up, and shut down pool equipment per manufacturer and safety guidelines (OSHA and company standards).
  • Wear appropriate PPE and practice safe driving, adhering to traffic laws and defensive driving principles.
  • Notify management of any potential safety risks or equipment issues.
• Operational Duties
  • Order replacement parts and manage all required paperwork, including warranty claims.
  • Keep work areas and service vehicles organized and clean at all times.
  • Train and support entry-level technicians with troubleshooting and procedures.
  • Adapt to evolving processes and changing business needs.
• Compliance & Company Standards
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and loss prevention protocols.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, stoop, and lift or carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent use of hands and arms for reaching, grasping, and handling tools or equipment.

• Regularly required to speak, listen, and communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Visual requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze written documents.

• Must be able to solve practical problems and adapt to a variety of customer needs or situations.
• Able to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.

Expected Working Hours:

• Days
• This is an exempt position, occasional overtime will be applicable.

Travel:

• Travel from the corporate office to customers’ homes in American Sale owned vehicles is a non-negotiable requirement .
• Attend professional meetings, seminars and training as approved for the purpose of gaining information and ideas to improve and enhance job performance
