About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at KCHC. As a Family Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, as well as promote disease prevention and health maintenance. Your ultimate goal will be to improve the overall health and well-being of our patients and their families.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a residency program in Family Medicine
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
  • Current and unrestricted medical license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a primary care setting
  • Fluency in multiple languages
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education and professional development

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough medical evaluations and assessments of patients
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribing medications and other therapies as needed
  • Providing patient education and counseling on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care

Skills:

As a Family Physician, you will utilize a wide range of clinical and interpersonal skills on a daily basis. You will need to be proficient in conducting physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. In addition, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and their families, as well as collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Your ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care will be critical to your success in this role.
