We are seeking a Medical Assistant - Dual Role, to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative AND clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative and clinical duties in a timely manner
• Answer multi phone lines
• Schedule appointments
• Verify Insurance coverage
• Communicate with insurance companies for referrals/authorizations
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Obtain patient vitals
• Perform tests as ordered by physician ie: EKG, Spirometry, various lab tests and Venipuncture
• Entering of demographics, insurance and clinical information into EMR

​Qualifications:

• Completion of Medical Assistant training, CMA or RMA requested.
• Previous experience in healthcare would be beneficial
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR is a huge bonus
• Self motivated to complete tasks
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic including attendance discipline

Hours:

• Approximately 30-35 hrs per week.
• No Weekends or evenings past 5 pm
