Title: Plant Manager
Location: Beaver Dam, WI (On-Site)
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4x 10 Hour Shifts
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Plant Supervisor. They direct and train the hourly workforce and ensures production commitments are fulfilled. They also ensure Company policies and procedures are followed while continuously working to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
· Develop world class operational standards of measuring and achieving key performance goals to meet manufacturing requirements achieving customer satisfaction on time and within budget i.e. On Time Delivery, Scrap Reduction, Quality, Safety, Cost Control, Waste Reduction, capacity planning, inventory, production scheduling, and performance measures.
· Supervise employees on the execution of production or other tasks in accordance with a production plan.
· Maintain Safety awareness and support implementation of prevention initiatives.
· Develop and improve manufacturing processes for greater efficiencies, i.e. work instructions, process flow, material usage, and material flow, cross training, visual performance (productivity-throughput, quality, OTD) and goals.
· Investigate and resolve problems and issues as they arise in area.
· Achieve goals in productivity, quality, and schedule attainment.
· Develop short term plans to support production plan.
· Coach employees to accomplish their tasks.
· Interview, hire, train and evaluate new employees. Discipline and terminate employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
· Communicate with other areas (Supply Chain and Quality) to assure completion of goals of on time delivery and quality.
· Oversees the shipping and receiving functions.
· Determines labor needs to meet production goals.
· Participates in annual planning and acquisition of new equipment.
· Assists with budget preparation and execution for operations unit.
· Propose and support continuous improvement initiatives in all areas of the plant.
· Audit compliance to establish process and policies requested by management.
· Support and ensure ISO 9000 processes and procedures are developed and implemented and coordinates preventative measures to enhance system capability.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent, Advanced Degree in business is preferred.
· Proficient in the knowledge welding, fabrication, and assembly.
· Minimum 7 years of related experience required.
· Experience in plastic molding – Rotational, injection or blow molding with polyethylene material would be desirable.
· Bilingual in Spanish a plus

· Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
· Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
· Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
· Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical skills.
· Experience in welding, fabrication and assembly.
· Demonstrated success in implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
· Self-motivated with ability to foster moral amongst his/her team.
