Position Summary
The CRSC Clinical Coordinator (LMHP) will provide oversight to ensure effective and efficient management to a multidisciplinary team providing services to clients in 23-hour observation, residential crisis stabilization, and detox units. The CRSC Clinical Coordinator will ensure the delivery of services in accordance with all applicable regulations and policies. This position will lead and collaborate with other appropriate staff and outside entities as needed to ensure delivery of services to clients. The CRSC Clinical Coordinator will also support the Program Manager to ensure coordination of all services, as well as the optimum financial performance of programs.
Required Education and Experience
- Master’s degree from a program that prepares individuals to practice counseling (60-hr master’s program), which is offered by a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting agency. (Re: 54.1-3500 of the Code of Virginia).
- Two years of post-licensure clinical experience providing direct crisis services, will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year of supervisory experience or other relevant leadership experience, preferably in a mental health setting.
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP), Certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (CPCNS).
Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of community mental health and public health in order to provide advocacy and enhance an individual’s treatment and access to community resources; Knowledge of the principles, procedures, techniques, trends, and literature related to mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse.
- Knowledge of clinical supervision requirements and techniques; Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction; Ability to develop reports, create presentations and communicate findings to both internal and external audiences; Ability to identify and measure outcomes.
- Willing and available to work modified schedules (weekends, holiday, etc.) as required.
Ability to drive and must possess a valid driver’s license. May be called upon to travel to any Horizon worksite; transport clients, provide services to client @other locations. Regular attendance at trainings and Horizon meetings may require travel to a variety of Horizon sites.
