Job description:

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Work well as a team player with other office staff
• Receive phone calls and respond appropriately
• Answer missed calls and voice messages
• Take Vital Signs and document
• Check faxes and respond (on your scheduled day)
• Schedule appointments
• Do pre-authorizations (on your scheduled day)
• Update medical records and insurance information
• Assist during medical examinations
• Administer Vaccinations
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• Update supplies timely
• Available to work on a Saturday.
• Fast learner.

Job Type: Full-time (35-40 per week)

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Language:

• Gujarati or Spanish (is a plus)
