Job Details

This position will work closely with the Pre-Construction team in preparing budgetary, conceptual and competitive bid estimates for commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

· Support the estimating team by preparing invitations to bid, soliciting proposals from subcontractors, distributing bid documents to necessary parties and working with subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate proposals are received.

· Develop and/or understand the full parameters of the project scope.

· Manage workloads according to department deadlines, commitments, and priorities.

· Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers, subcontractors, and design professionals.

Qualifications:

· Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.

· Outstanding time management, organization, prioritization, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills required.

· Advanced computer software skills, including MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project and related software, or similar database software. Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, preferred.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,200.00 per year
