Cota & Cota is looking for a reliable, responsible, team player who our customers and team members can depend on. We are looking for an automotive and/or diesel mechanic to join our dedicated team. Experience working on repair and/or service of medium to heavy duty fleet maintenance vehicles is required and diesel experience is a plus. Our mechanics maintain the new vehicle company fleet as well as our customers and employees vehicles if requested. Applicant must be familiar with lift equipment and preventative maintenance schedules; general knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and repair procedures; strong mechanical aptitude; ability to perform repairs as well as the ability to work as a team player is required.

The candidate must be 18 years or older, be able to pass a pre-employment physical and should have or be willing to obtain a CDL Class A license and DOT medical card within 6 months to a year after date of hire. The company will help you obtain your CDL and endorsements as well as training. 2 years of experience or vocational mechanic training is preferred. 

Compensation is based on experience. This is a straight, hourly paid position with an excellent work schedule of Monday thru Friday (day shift) with the potential to earn more income. Once trained, we do have a rotating on-call schedule to cover any off hour emergencies with our fleet vehicles. On-call is compensated with additional pay.
