We are seeking a 3D CAD Design Engineer to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of products as well as create machine code for CNC router, CNC saw and other machines

Responsibilities:

• Prepare product models and drawings for customer approval
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
• Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
• Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
• Coordinate with other colleagues regarding ongoing projects

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in drafting, modeling, manufacturing or other related fields
• Familiarity with blueprint reading
• Familiarity with CAD, Microvellum, or other related software
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday, sometimes Saturdays

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chattanooga, TN 37406: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• AutoCad: 1 year (Preferred)
• Drafting: 1 year (Preferred)
