Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced automotive mechanic with a background in modern Ford F-150s and similar pickup trucks. The ideal candidate will be able to perform a wide range of maintenance from oil changes to rebuilding an engine. 

Job Duties

• Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance programs on vehicles
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools and welding equipment as needed for repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed on each vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station.
• Manage parts and tool inventory
• Communicate effectively with employer regarding vehicle status and repair recommendations
• Perform other mechanical duties as assigned and required

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive mechanic, especially with newer Ford F-150 models
• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hands-on experience in automotive repair
• Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication
• Knowledge of vehicle HVAC is required
