Treatment Director (ARMHS)

Position Summary

The Treatment Director is responsible for the clinical oversight and administrative supervision of all Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) provided by the agency. This includes ensuring compliance with Minnesota Statute 256B.0623, supervising clinical staff, reviewing documentation, and managing quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Oversight

- Ensure all services meet MN Statute 256B.0623 requirements for ARMHS

- Review and sign off on Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs)

- Monitor treatment documentation for compliance and effectiveness

- Provide clinical input for admissions, discharges, and referrals

Staff Supervision

- Supervise Mental Health Practitioners and Rehabilitation Workers

- Conduct and document regular clinical supervision meetings

- Ensure staff meet training and licensure standards

- Assist with onboarding and continuing education

Program Management

- Develop and implement ARMHS policies and procedures

- Participate in program audits and follow corrective actions

- Collaborate with the admin team on planning and service delivery

- Lead quality assurance activities and improvements

Documentation & Compliance

- Oversee completion of treatment plans, notes, assessments, and discharges

- Maintain staff supervision logs and training records

Qualifications

Required:

- Licensed Mental Health Professional in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP)

- 2+ years providing services to adults with serious mental illness

- Eligibility for clinical supervision per DHS rules

- Knowledge of ARMHS policy and documentation standards

Preferred:

- Experience in managing community mental health programs

- Background in trauma-informed care and cultural competency

Skills & Competencies

- Strong leadership and supervisory skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- Detail-oriented with strong documentation standards

- Ability to manage compliance and reporting requirements

Work Environment

- May include hybrid or on-site work

- Includes documentation review, supervision, and meetings

Schedule & Compensation

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (or as needed)

- Compensation: Competitive; based on experience and licensure
