Job Summary:

Johnny Blue Inc. is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Septic Tank Pump Truck Driver / CDL Required to join our team. In this role, you will operate a vacuum truck to pump, clean, and service septic systems at residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vacuum/pump trucks to service septic tanks, holding tanks.

• Drive to customer locations across assigned routes in a safe and timely manner.

• Inspect and maintain pump truck equipment to ensure proper operation.

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and document any issues.

• Properly dispose of waste in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Interact professionally with customers, answer basic service questions, and provide excellent customer service.

• Complete service paperwork and maintain accurate logs and records.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Class B or A) with tanker endorsement required.

• Clean driving record with no recent violations.

• Prior experience operating a vacuum or pump truck preferred, but not required—training available.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting hoses and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Knowledge of septic systems and local waste disposal regulations is a plus.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional weekends or after-hours emergency calls.

• Pay: starting at $27.00 / hour, depending on experience.
