Looking for prep cooks to join the team at the new Gnarly Barley!

Potential employees must be used to working in a fast paced environment, possess strong work ethics, be capable of effective communication, and able to work flexible hours. Previous work experience is highly preferred, and strong references required.

Responsibilities include:

• proper execution of all food safety practices & regulations
• following & preparing large scale recipes
• monitoring and ensuring food freshness and quality
• properly labeling, organizing, and storing food products
• managing inventory levels
• cleaning and sanitizing all stations, equipment, tools, and dishes before and after shifts
• working with other team members to ensure the execution of daily service

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Certified in food handling, typically via ServSafe
• Excellent organization, time & self-management skills
• Effective communication skills
• 2+ years of commercial cooking experience or technical or vocational culinary education
