JOB TITLE: General Facility Maintenance Operator

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

SHIFT: Flexible - Part time (approximately 20 hours week)

PAY TYPE: Hourly

Facility Cleaning Maintenance and General Facility Repairs

• Sweep and mop floors, vacuum rugs weekly, including in production area around the machines.
• Clean all facility bathrooms and Employee lunch area and counters weekly.
• Sweep and dust on tables and around computers in the facility.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
• Empty trash bins in all areas of the facility.
• Ability to utilize hand tools to assist in general building maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
• Follow directions as given to complete the assigned task as required.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily task goals.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment remains in good working order.

Compliance and Safety:

• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly
• Participate in safety training programs and actively contribute to a culture of workplace safety.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Must-have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Nice-to-have:

• Prior experience in a warehouse and general building maintenance
• Experience using a forklift to move pallets of material
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse settings.
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration and problems
