Job Overview:

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance and repair of beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment. This includes working with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, conveyor systems, and PLCs.

Pay Rate:
$30-$32/hour

Shift:

• Training: 1st shift (6am-2:30pm)

• After training: 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am)

Essential Duties:

• Complete preventive and proactive maintenance as scheduled.

• Investigate breakdowns and line stoppages with root-cause analysis.

• Respond to line stoppages, ensuring quick resolution using electrical and mechanical skills.

• Prioritize work to minimize downtime and complete required documentation (CMMS).

• Inspect, repair, and maintain production machinery.

• Diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters or other testing devices.

• Operate repaired machinery to verify repairs.

• Test and analyze machine errors to diagnose issues.

• Ensure machinery meets operational and safety standards.

• Support food safety and quality programs.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in industrial production/food manufacturing.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance documents.

• Proficiency in basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
