Barker Buick GMC is actively seeking experienced mid-to-upper level Automotive Technicians to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for someone with strong diagnostic skills and hands-on experience with gas engines and electrical systems. If you're HVAC certified, computer-savvy, and have your own tools — you're who we’re looking for.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and engine-related issues

• Perform advanced repairs on gas engines, HVAC systems, and vehicle electronics

• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks

• Use OEM diagnostic software and tools to accurately troubleshoot issues

• Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members about repair status

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician

• Strong background in electrical systems and gas engine diagnostics

• HVAC certification preferred

• Must have your own tools

• Comfortable using computers and diagnostic software

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
