Talent Corps seeks a dependable and experienced Plumber’s Helper to support licensed plumbers on a ground-up detention center project in Lancaster, SC. This is a long-term opportunity for individuals who have experience from underground through finish work and are comfortable working in secure, high-specification environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist journeyman plumbers with all phases of plumbing work, from underground rough-in to final trim-out

• Support the installation of PVC and cast iron pipe systems, fittings, and fixtures

• Carry, organize, and stage tools and materials for efficient workflow

• Cut, measure, and prep pipe under supervision

• Dig trenches, prepare work areas, and support layout tasks

• Maintain a clean and safe job site and follow all site-specific security and safety protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience assisting plumbers on commercial or institutional construction projects

• Familiarity with underground plumbing installation (PVC, cast iron)

• Experience working on detention centers, police stations, firehouses, or large commercial projects.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials

• Reliable transportation and willingness to work full shifts outdoors and in construction conditions
