Position Description Summary:
The candidate shall improve SharePoint system and architecture through enhancements and exception coding to address the needs of the client. The candidate shall continue fortifying the Information Assurance (IA) posture, by implementing mitigation in order to provide, situational awareness to ensure the health and scalability and implementation of SharePoint.
Essential Job Functions:
• Create reports in order to provide summaries and areas of concerns from log events
• Install and configure SharePoint and support products
• Integrate data /event feeds when necessary
• Perform upgrades, maintenance and performance tuning
• Document security operations architecture
• Perform application analysis to confirm capability to support anticipated event load
• Define anticipated user types and roles, and maintain user access
• Determine data storage policies/capabilities, including affected SharePoint environments and provide supporting documentation
• Provide technical and administrative support to include analyzing and refining system requirements, design, architecture, performance, monitoring and security by IA policies
• Perform network and server administration tasks and log reviews to ensure server connectivity and user availability
• Perform typical SharePoint administration tasks including the creation, monitoring, accessing, and changing of user and service accounts
• Assess new computing technologies and the feasibility of system enhancements to determine potential value for the client
• Plan, design, develop, test and implement software enhancements to incorporate new functionality or to improve current functionality
• Ensure that all production and testing application baselines are operational every morning
• Work with stakeholders to test applications to ensure software, systems quality, and functionality meets requirements
• Submit request for code progression
• Comply with change /configuration management policies
• Execute processes and procedures for system integration testing and integrate new or modified SharePoint application software in the testing environment
• Utilize a tracking system to monitor and display assigned task for all program code/development/enhancements
• Perform application performance measurement and reporting
The candidate shall also work with stakeholders to implement business and IA compliance requirements for all task areas under this contract. Content includes any application including correlation rules, data monitors, reports, event annotation stages, case customization, active lists, and pattern discovery. Testing and tuning of the content developed is required and coincides with the development process. Content development based upon the customers identified use cases.
Essential job function activities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
• Analyze DoD directives, internal business guidelines, and IA security policies, in order to identify specific criteria for content development
• Develop network and asset models to enhance the IA posture and take advantage of advanced scanning capabilities
• Analyze events found in the application logs to validate the architecture and procedures, define new procedures, and identify events of interest in support of report incident response
• Provide in-depth event analysis and tuning in order to develop recommendations and analysis for event tuning to include router, switch, firewall, intrusion detection system (IDS), and logs
• Mitigate IA findings and provide reports to technical team for review
• Update stakeholder’s documentation and procedures of IA policy
• Test new functionality in a test environment before migrating these changes to the production environment
• Comply with stakeholder IA Policy and Procedures
• Assist with and/or conduct Security Test, Evaluation, and IA assessment reviews as a way of validating compliance with IA policy
• Develop and document guides for the implementation of IA compliant solutions including compliance, system security design, security testing and IA assessments
• Ensure applications and databases comply with DoD, DLA, and IA directives
• Provide, test, implement, and validate all software updates, and service patches as required by DoD IA Directives and CM process for change requests
• Perform configuration changes on DLA SharePoint, SQL and Server Reporting Services, to ensure that all components meet compliance criteria in accordance with DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), IA policies/regulations, and all directives or tasking
• Shall be required to complete Privacy Impact Documentation as required by the program Office and Information Assurance.
Minimum Requirements:
Responsible for planning, designing, troubleshooting, and providing day-to-day support for the business collaboration application (e.g. SharePoint). Sets up, configures, and maintains the business collaboration application environment. Responsible for collecting, analyzing and creating reports from the business collaboration applications.
Minimum Experience:
Five years relevant experience in designing, developing and the administration of Microsoft SharePoint
Required Skills:
• Must have a minimum of (6) years of general IT experience
• Must have a minimum of (6) years of experience with deployment of DoD IT systems
• Experience with reading documentation and providing detail analysis of software business and technical capabilities
• Must have DoD Information Assurance experience with policies and best practices in accordance with RMF
• Must have a minimum of (3) years of experience in designing, developing and administrating Microsoft SQL Server
• Must have a minimum of (3) years of relevant experience in designing, developing and deployment of Dashboards of (Management Information Systems)

Education & Experience:
Minimum BS degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline
Skills & Experience: Experience and knowledge is required in the design, development and administration of SharePoint. Must have knowledge and experience with DOD IA policies and Risk Management Framework (RMF). Must be proficient in MS Office – MS Project, MS Visio, HTML, VB Script, XML, Microsoft ASP.NET and JAVA\Primavera
