FABRICATION AND WAREHOUSE MANAGER

East Texas Canopy is currently seeking a Fabrication/Warehouse Manager for our specialty construction projects. This position will require you to participate in the fabrication process and go to job sites for meetings if needed. This position is not an office job. Strong communication, coordination, delegation skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask are critical.

Required:

• Must excel in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking, self-motivation, and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

• Manage inventory levels and locations.
• Manage the loading of materials for projects.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in commercial construction
• Experience and knowledge of small and large tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with ETC staff, sub-contractor installation crews, and customers to determine deadlines and requirements.
• Review and satisfy safety and background requirements for each project.
• Collaborate with management, the project estimator, and the estimating coordinator to identify the necessary resources (workforce, equipment, and materials) from start to finish, taking into account budgetary limitations.
• Manage ETC stocked materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain ETC vehicles, trailers, and buildings.
• Manage and schedule fabrication and warehouse staff.
• Evaluate fabrication progress and prepare reports as needed.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
• Participate in the fabrication process and drive as needed.

Pay Rate:

• Negotiable based on experience level.

Experience:

• Construction: 5 years (preferred)
• Fabrication: 5 years (preferred)
• Project Management: 5 years (a plus)
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 (a plus)
• Architectural metals construction (a plus)
• Inventory management (preferred)
• Staff management (preferred)
