We're Hiring: Service Manager

$95,000.00-$110,000.00/year Exempt

Location: Phoenix, AZ| Full-Time |

We’re seeking a dynamic, hands-on Service Manager to lead our field service operations—someone who can balance technical expertise, team leadership, and a commitment to exceptional customer support.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and Develop the Team: Supervise and coach a team of field technicians servicing commercial UPS systems, battery systems, and power distribution equipment across the Western U.S.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee scheduling, dispatch, field service execution, job cost management, and customer follow-up.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Enforce safety standards, quality protocols, and regulatory compliance in field activities.
  • Customer Escalation Point: Serve as the key point of contact for complex technical issues, scope changes, and emergency response coordination.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with Sales, Projects, and Purchasing to align priorities, support quoting efforts, and ensure jobs are fully scoped and prepared before technicians are dispatched.
  • Monitor and Improve Performance: Use metrics and feedback to evaluate technician productivity, customer satisfaction, and service delivery quality.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 5+ years in field service, preferably involving UPS, DC battery systems, or electrical power equipment; 2+ years managing technical teams
  • Leadership: A confident, motivating presence with a collaborative leadership style
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of power equipment, site safety, and electrical systems (UPS, switchgear, inverters, etc.)
  • Communication Skills: Able to effectively communicate with technicians, customers, and leadership—especially under pressure
  • Problem Solver: Calm under pressure, quick to resolve issues, and proactive in improving systems and processes.
  • Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel for site audits, customer meetings, or technician support.
  • Ability to pass a blood draw, drug screen, and physical.
