Job Opportunity: Restoration Technician – Join Our Growing Team!

Position: Restoration Technician
Hiring Immediately – Full-time positions with paid training available for the right candidate
Pay: Up to $21/hr. + incentives

Key Responsibilities:

• Demolition and removal of non-salvageable materials
• Water extraction & mold remediation
• Contents cleaning and inventory management
• Effective communication with customers
• Leadership and teamwork skills
• Documenting work via proprietary software
• Perform basic equipment maintenance
• Perform basic Vehicle maintenance
• Inspect completed work
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year of restoration experience (water, mold, fire damage)
• Willingness to learn and grow within the field

• Ability to work well individually and on a team
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation (required)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call schedule
• Ability to work flexible and longer hours during emergency situations
• Be part of a rotating on-call schedule
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly (up to 100lbs with assistance)
• Comfort working in tight spaces, at heights, and around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally as needed
• IICRC certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• On Call
• 8 hour shift (flexible and longer during emergency situations)

Experience:

• Restoration: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Bohemia, NY 11716 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Bohemia, NY 11716: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
