Description: HaulRight is a freight brokerage startup based in Nashville, TN. Our office is located on the 4th floor of the Saint Cloud Corner building on Church Street downtown. We are the intermediary between shippers of truckload freight and truck drivers who are looking for loads. We currently have contracts with several large shippers who are $1B+ in revenue as well as a handful of smaller shippers under $1B in revenue. In our first year (2021) we did over $1M in revenue and did over $5M in revenue in 2024. We are looking for a highly motivated person interested in learning about the truckload freight/logistics industry and building a book of business that will help the company grow with unlimited earning potential. We are looking for someone who grasps new concepts quickly, has a sense of urgency, and has a strong work ethic. Ideally, we’d like someone who is a self-starter, Money driven, motivated, able to think on the fly and eager to learn the industry. ($50k starting salary + commission + benefits).

Responsibilities:

• Learning basic concepts about the trucking/logistics/freight brokerage industry (There will be a brief training period of 1-2 weeks).
• Building loads into our TMS (transportation management system).
• Scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments for our loads.
• Taking inbound calls from drivers and truckload carriers.
• Negotiating rates with drivers/carriers and booking loads.
• Providing tracking information and updates to our customers.
• Collecting paperwork after loads are completed.
• Making outbound calls to prospective customers.
• Quoting truckload freight lanes by using market and historical data (Will involve negotiation with our customers).
