Job Details

We are looking for the right candidate to assist with planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and directing the Quality-of-Life Department to ensure that the spiritual, emotional, recreational and social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the activity programs of the facility
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the identification of the spiritual, social, recreational and emotional needs of the residents
• Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations, as well as professional standards, and make recommendations on changes in policies and procedures to the Administrator.
• Assist in obtaining information concerning the residents' backgrounds in order to provide better activities to meet their needs
• Attend and participate in your professional association's activities and programs
• Assist in arranging and providing transportation for field trips and outings for the residents

Skills

• Longterm Care experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• CNA experience preferred

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shifts
• 8 hour shifts
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Every weekend
