Mailing Specialist Admin
Support role to other staff including adherence to USPS regulations, data processing, and customer advising.

Pay rate range: $19 - $23 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulations & Compliance:
  • Stay up-to-date with USPS Mail Piece Design regulations.
  • Ensure mail piece conformity to USPS regulations.
• Data Processing:
  • Use software for importing, CASS certification, duplicate removal, NCOA, and presorting.
  • Prepare USPS documentation and export data for production.
• Consulting & Analysis:
  • Advise on Merge/Purge strategies.
  • Conduct data entry and list maintenance.
• Technical and Software Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with MS SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Windows.
  • Experience in postal presorting with tools like BCC Mail Manager.
  • Edit with DAT-MAIL for manual Mail.dat adjustments.
• Coordination & Monitoring:
  • Schedule and coordinate mail transportation to USPS NDCs and SCFs.
  • Monitor the flow of mail and report issues from the USPS Mailer Scorecard.
  • Utilize various dashboards such as Fenske Media PostalOne and Window Book's PostalWeb.
• Innovation & Maintenance:
  • Maintain and update server software.
  • Create code for list manipulation and automation.

• Quick learner of mailing processes and products.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Windows, Office Suite).
• Strong communication abilities.
• High attention to detail for data accuracy.
• Multitasking and organizational skills for large datasets.
• Problem-solving abilities for data-related issues.
