About Us: We are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized healthcare services directly in the comfort of our patients' homes. We are seeking a professional and friendly Medical Office Receptionist who is Bilingual in English and Russian to support our team.
Position Overview: The Bilingual Medical Office Receptionist will be the key point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in coordinating and managing our house call services. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff in both English and Russian.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience be it over the phone or in person.
- Manage appointment scheduling for house calls, including coordinating times with patients and medical staff.
- Handle patient check-ins and follow-ups remotely, ensuring all necessary information is collected and recorded.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in both English and Russian, providing and collecting necessary information and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain and update patient records and documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, agencies, pharmacies, and laboratories to enhance timely and efficient patient care.
- Manage administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and organizing office supplies.
- Process patient payments, including co-pays and outstanding balances, and manage billing-related tasks.
- Additional skills (such as medical billing) are welcomed and will determine compensation rate.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service role in a healthcare setting.
- Bilingualism in English and Russian is a must.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to write medical letters and effectively interact in various work related situations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on detail.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and medical software (e.g., EHR systems).
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare structure is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent;.
