Part-Time | After-School Hours | Weekends

Tuesday and Thursday, 4:30 to 7:30

Saturday 9:00 to 12:00

Subjects: English, Math, Abacus, and Coding (Grades Pre-K to 8)

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and certified English and Math teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate has classroom teaching experience, strong subject matter expertise, and a desire to make a positive impact on young learners in a small-group setting.

Responsibilities

· Deliver weekly in-person instruction to students in small groups (typically 1:5 ratio).

· Use the Best Brains curriculum and guidelines to teach English and Math concepts.

· Track student progress and provide feedback to the center director and parents as needed.

· Create a positive, respectful, and encouraging learning environment.

· Maintain accurate student records and adhere to program schedules.

· Communicate regularly with staff and management regarding student needs and classroom updates.

· Should be able to take both English and Math classes.

Qualifications

· Teacher Certification in English, Mathematics, or a related field.

· Certified teacher (State certification, K-5 Elementary Certification, PEL Certificate preferred).

· Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience, preferably at the K-8 level.

· Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience managing elementary and middle school students.

· Ability to teach both English and Math concepts clearly and confidently.

· Must be available on evenings and/or weekends, based on the center's hours.

· Ability to commute within 20 minutes of the center (Desirable).
