Our client seeks a Logistics Sales Specialist / Carrier Sourcing Specialist to research and contact potential new carriers.

You will earn a base salary of up to $55,000 per year, depending on your experience. You will also enjoy an excellent benefits package! This position is on-site with potential to work a hybrid schedule. You will work M-F 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm.

To qualify for the Logistics Sales Specialist / Carrier Sourcing Specialist, you must have:

• Logistics experience
• Drive, assertiveness, passion and dedication to succeed in the logistics industry
• Ability to work in a blended role of operations and sales
• Strong attention to details
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting an overall team
• Ability to respond to high-pressure, timely situations with poise and sense of urgency
• Willingness to travel, as needed

Your responsibilities as Logistics Sales Specialist / Carrier Sourcing Specialist to build new relationships and create a bond with the carriers. In addition, you will be:

• Communicating performance expectations to the carrier for loads
• Identifying carrier needs and expectations
• Building strong working relationships with carriers
• Negotiating carrier contracts, including rates, payment terms and more
• Performing carrier-specific needs analysis to identify potential business opportunities
• Developing problem solving strategies for successful carrier operations
• Resolving day-to-day issues
