Location: Multiple Sites within driving distance of Charleston, SC
Schedule: Monday - Friday Weekends as Needed (8-12 hour shifts)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to oversee and manage hydrostatic and pneumatic testing operations across multiple systems within an oil & gas or industrial construction project. This position plays a key role in ensuring systems are prepared, tested, and documented to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide expert guidance and oversight to workers performing hydro testing activities, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and project specifications.
· Plan, coordinate, and execute hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests for all designated test packages, ensuring all preparatory work is complete and properly documented.
· Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including punch lists and test reports; follow through with construction teams to close out outstanding items.
· Supervise line cleaning activities following test completion and ensure system integrity is maintained.
· Conduct thorough system reviews to confirm readiness for testing, including walkdowns, punch list generation, and system boundary checks.
· Collaborate with various stakeholders, including piping, instrumentation, and electrical inspectors, field engineers, and superintendents to ensure testing procedures are aligned across disciplines.
· Serve as the primary liaison with client Quality Assurance representatives to coordinate inspection and approval activities during test phases.
· Review system documentation (drawings, specifications, vendor data) and verify that installations meet project and regulatory requirements.
· Coordinate closely with the Construction Manager to identify deficiencies and facilitate smooth and efficient test execution.
· Ensure all test equipment is in place, operational, and that all pre-test requirements (including punch list completion) are met before testing begins.
· Evaluate and approve quality documentation submitted by subcontractors and suppliers, including ITPs, quality plans, procedures, and inspection records.
· Monitor and report on test progress, results, and closeout status to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
· Foster a safety-first culture while maintaining high standards of quality and environmental compliance.
Required Skills & Competencies:
· Strong planning and execution skills with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
· Deep understanding of hydrotesting processes, piping systems, mechanical engineering, and quality assurance principles.
· Experience in oil & gas projects, particularly in tropical or high-humidity environments.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of collaborating across disciplines and with client stakeholders.
· Proven leadership and team coordination abilities.
· Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
· Familiarity with EPC standards and strict adherence to HSE protocols.
