We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair low-voltage fare collection equipment used in public transportation systems (fareboxes, ticket vending machines, card readers, and related devices).
This is a field-based position — ideal for someone with hands-on low-voltage electronics service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site service, troubleshooting, and repair of fare collection equipment.

Conduct voltage, resistance, and continuity tests using meters and diagnostic equipment.
Complete preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
Accurately document all service activity and parts usage.
Use basic hand tools, power tools, and standard test equipment safely and effectively.
May order replacement parts or serve as Lead Technician as assigned.
Requirements
✅ Minimum 3 years of field service experience servicing low-voltage electronic equipment (e.g., fare collection devices, ticketing machines, kiosks, ATMs, vending, security, or similar)
✅ Proficient using meters for voltage, resistance, and continuity checks
✅ Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
✅ Able to work independently, manage time, and follow detailed directions
✅ Must lift up to 50 lbs, walk, stand, climb stairs, and work in transit environments
✅ Valid driver’s license
✅ Must pass background check and drug test
✅ Must be fully vaccinated or qualify for a religious accommodation
✅ Available to work weekends (1 PM – 9:30 PM, 5 consecutive days with 2 days off)
