Job Description:

The Heavy & Construction Equipment Mechanic is responsible for safely and efficiently performing mechanical repairs and periodic maintenance on heavy construction equipment and trucks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*Maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and electrical machinery, and systems including preventative maintenance.
*Maintaining shop supplies, shop, and tools.
*Reading, understanding, and applying information from technical manuals, prints and schematics.
*Assisting co-workers or supervisors with other duties as needed
Performing all work efficiently and safely in accordance with State, Federal and Company regulations
*Maintaining work areas in clean and safe manner
*Finishing assigned tasks on time with high standards of quality

Job Requirements:

-3-5 years" experience diagnosing and repairing diesel, construction, and heavy equipment
-Valid driver"s license
-Ability to lift heavy parts and tools
-Valid Driver"s License
-Experience with paving equipment repair and service
