Full-line maintenance company looking to hire a full-time Estimator/Field Supervisor to manage the day-to-day field operations of assigned work teams.  This position requires someone who is dependable, detail-oriented and achievement-oriented.  S&D Prime Maintenance is a well-established company that emphasizes professionalism, top quality workmanship and on-time project completion.

Estimator responsibilities include:

·         Preparing cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements

·         Prepare work to be estimated by identifying labor, materials and time requirements

·         Resolve discrepancies

·         Oversee jobs from conception to completion

·         Estimating scope to include, but not limited to, residential, commercial and industrial scale of property maintenance and repairs, minor to major remodeling and/or upgrades, and home/facility utility work.

·         Skills and qualifications include analyzing information, estimating, planning, reporting research results, data entry experience, strategic planning, attention to detail and informing and communicating with others.

Field Supervisor responsibilities include:

·         Ability to build good working relationships with customers

·         Investigating and resolving customer complaints in an efficient, professional manner

·         Provide leadership to, train and mentor onsite field staff, subcontractors, and other parties

·         Management of up to 3-5 crews on various jobsites

·         Strive for and maintain top quality workmanship and service to our customers

·         Ensure that all safety policies are strictly adhered to

·         Constant onsite review and communication to appropriate parties of project progress to ensure deadlines are met

·         Daily activities expected to be: 75% out in the field and 25% in the office

Field Supervisor requirements include:

·         Must possess building and construction experience and skills: minimum 5-10 years of experience with a resume to demonstrate subcontractor and employee management, estimating, field supervision, and quality control

·         Must be responsible for preparing cost estimates: identifying labor, material and time requirements, resolve discrepancies and oversee jobs from inception to completion

·         Welding and roofing experience a plus

MUST have a valid Illinois Driver’s license and good motor vehicle record.  MUST be able to pass pre-employment and drug screening.  Salary to commensurate with experience.  Many company benefits offered.
