Barnes Trial Group is a Plaintiff's personal injury litigation law firm handling auto negligence, medical malpractice, premises liability, wrongful death, nursing home abuse, and mass tort cases. We have been in business since 2009 and have recently moved into a newly built, three-story law firm in South Tampa. Our new office has been carefully designed to allow lots of natural light in, has ample parking for employees and clients, and was crafted with our staff and their comfort in mind. Scheduling Coordinator Responsibilities

We are looking to hire an organized, driven, and professional legal assistant to join our team as a Legal Scheduling Coordinator. The primary focus of this position is to coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials on personal injury cases for one to two litigation teams, ensuring deadlines are met and cases progress swiftly to trial. The position requires heavy calendar management and scheduling in Outlook as well as constant email communication with opposing counsel, clients, judicial assistants, and experts.

Requirements

• Must live in Florida
• Must have 2-4 years' experience scheduling as a legal assistant or paralegal in a litigation law firm
• Knowledge of the civil litigation process and court procedures
• E-Filing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
• Plaintiff personal injury experience preferred

Compensation

This is a full-time, hourly position with an allotted 37.5 hours per week over. This position may have the availability to work hybrid. The pay range for this position is $23-$26 per hour based on experience.
