Job Title: Personal Injury Paralegal (Plaintiff's Side)

Location: Financial District (On-site Monday- Friday)
 

About the Firm:

Major personal injury law firm located in the Financial District of New York City is currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Personal Injury Paralegal to join our plaintiff’s practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through trial or settlement

• Conduct initial client interviews and assist with onboarding new clients

• Draft legal documents including summons and complaints, bills of particulars, discovery demands/responses, subpoenas, and settlement packages

• Obtain and organize medical records, police reports, and insurance documents

• Coordinate medical examinations (IMEs), depositions, and court appearances

• Maintain case files and docketing systems to ensure critical deadlines are met

• Communicate regularly with clients, experts, and medical providers

• Prepare trial binders and assist attorneys with trial preparation

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation

• Strong understanding of New York State civil procedure

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment
