We are currently seeking an experienced Freight Agent to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in freight brokering or logistics coordination and be motivated to drive business growth through relationship building and efficient freight management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage freight brokerage operations, including carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, and load booking

• Build and maintain relationships with shippers, carriers, and logistics partners

• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight

• Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays proactively

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, billing, and documentation

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a freight agent, broker, or in a similar logistics role

• Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, modes, and industry regulations

• An existing book of business is highly preferred

• Proficiency with TMS (Transportation Management System) software

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
