A global automotive parts manufacturing company is looking for a motivated Sales Account Representative in their Novi, MI location.

The ideal candidate would have couple of years’ experience in industrial sales or automotive industry experience.

New/business development or automotive industry experience will be a huge plus.

Sales Account Representative Responsibilities:

•       Establish relations with new and previous customers

•       New business development with OEMs and Tier Suppliers

•       Promote automotive parts (bearings) and company at the trade shows

•       Intelligently communicate with clients

•       Travel to customer locations and prepare reports and compile data

•       Make presentations to and attend meetings with client managers and engineers.

•       Understand specifications for products for customer design assistance

•       Responsible for issuing purchasing orders and RFQs

•       Create data, budgets, and reports regarding sales and marketing activity.

•       Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.   

Automotive Parts Sales Representative Requirements:

•       A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication or Marketing or Engineering is preferred

•       Minimum 1 year of customer service or sales experience

•       Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time

•       Experience with customer interaction/service preferred

•       Must have excellent presentation skills

•       Experience with working in a Japanese related environment is a plus

•       Some engineering knowledge or technical support experience is a plus

•       This position will not support visa sponsorships

•       This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
