About the Role:

The technician will work closely with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and implement preventive maintenance strategies. A key outcome of this role is to enhance the reliability and performance of machinery, thereby minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency. The technician will be working with the engineering team to coordinate the Bill of Materials delivery for Aerospace projects. Ultimately, the Mechanical Technician will help drive innovation and quality in our mechanical processes, ensuring that we meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD software for mechanical design.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to assist in the production process.
• Counting, Packaging, General Assembly of Parts
• Mechanically inclined – experience using tools in a professional shop
• Collaborating with other technicians and staff
• Identifying and implementing solutions to mechanical problems.
• Swaging bearings
• Ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
• Sourcing replacement parts and negotiating costs with suppliers.
• Fabrication Experience a plus but not required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• MS Office proficiency – Email, Word, Excel
