Position Description

As a Network and Epicor Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure.

Essential Job Functions

• Administering and maintaining the Epicor ERP system, ensuring its optimal performance and availability.
• Overseeing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business processes and improve system efficiencies.
• Implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conducting regular system audits and performance monitoring to identify areas for improvement.
• Providing technical support and training to staff on Epicor and network-related issues.
• Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an ERP Administrator, preferably with Epicor.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, including configuration and management of network devices.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with database management and data backup/recovery processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in Epicor ERP, Cisco, or other relevant IT certifications.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation purposes (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
• Mobility within the work facility.
