Dress Code: Scrubs
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour!
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm.

Job Description:

• Job Description:
• Check patients in and out
• Answer phones
• Schedule new and existing patients, updating records as necessary
• Dispensing filled orders at the drive thru
• Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and ensure required fields are completed appropriately
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records
• Manage refill requests in E-Prescribe for doctor approval
• Maintain the waiting room
• Manage the fax machine (ie patient questions, etc.)
• Contact insurance companies to obtain medication authorizations (with guidance from doctor)
• Manage encounter forms
• Medical records
• Balance daily close

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and listening skills
• High level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Desire to learn with a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and accountable
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role
• Must be able to pass criminal background check
• Experience with EMR, E-Prescribe, Medisoft/Microwize/Office Hours a plus
