What You’ll Do

As a key member of the Cascadia Comfort team, you will be the face of our service excellence, specializing in complex diagnostics and comprehensive comfort solutions. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Service & Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer comfort.
• Installation: Support the installation of heating and cooling systems, adhering to industry standards and company protocols.
• Sales: Educate customers on system options, maintenance plans, and energy-efficient solutions. Create and present estimates clearly and professionally to help customers make informed decisions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with dispatchers, project managers, and fellow technicians to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and customer-focused HVAC Technician with a proven track record in both service and sales. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in HVAC service and installation, with a strong emphasis on complex diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience in a sales or "comfort advisor" role, demonstrating success in educating customers and presenting comprehensive system solutions, including full system replacements.
  • Preferred: Experience working with both residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Certifications:
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • NATE Certification preferred (especially in areas like Service, Heat Pump, or AC).
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Exceptional Diagnostic & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly and accurately identify the root cause of HVAC system malfunctions across a wide range of equipment types.
  • Project Scoping & Estimation Expertise: Demonstrated ability to accurately scope new HVAC system replacements and installations, including determining appropriate equipment, calculating parts, materials, and labor needed for accurate pricing and proposals.
  • Strong Sales & Communication Acumen: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain technical issues, educate customers on system options, and confidently present estimates and long-term solutions. A customer-first mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of HVAC principles, electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and control systems for various equipment.
  • Customer-First Mindset: A genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various environmental conditions (e.g., attics, crawl spaces, rooftops), and navigate tight spaces.
• Licensing & Background: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
