About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Litigation Associate with 5+ years of experience who is ready to lead in and out of the courtroom. Former Assistant U.S. Attorneys or those with comparable litigation backgrounds—especially in commercial, employment, or personal injury law—are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a compelling opportunity for a driven litigator who wants a seat at the table and a key role in shaping legal strategy.

What You'll Do

• Litigate cases from inception to resolution in a variety of matters including commercial, employment, and tort-based litigation
• Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and discovery responses with minimal supervision
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court appearances with confidence and professionalism
• Collaborate directly with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and apply findings to active matters
• Maintain case files and manage litigation calendars
• Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, address legal concerns, and advise on outcomes
• Stay abreast of legal trends, statutory changes, and relevant case law developments

What You Bring

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in New Jersey (New York bar is a plus)
• Prior experience as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Deputy Attorney General, or private firm litigation associate is strongly preferred
• Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple litigation matters with strong attention to detail
• High emotional intelligence and professional demeanor in client-facing interactions and court appearances
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
