Summary:

The primary job function of the Restaurant Manager is to coach teammates and assume overall responsibility for the success of their restaurant by directing all operational aspects of the restaurant and driving sales while minimizing costs. They are responsible for ensuring that assistant managers and staff uphold set standards, being well organized and properly stocked/staffed at all times; and that all policies, procedures and controls are followed. A Restaurant Manager’s time must be split between all segments of the restaurant. and the staff at positions, who may require different levels of support and time.

A Restaurant Manager is expected to train, challenge, motivate, encourage and provide constructive guidance to assistance managers and the team related to all areas of operations.

​Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2-5 years experience in a hospitality management role.
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated and with a strong work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
• Attention to detail in both FOH & BOH
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to hire, train, develop and retain employees in a variety of roles.
• Understand and adhere to all sanitation guidelines for federal, state & city/parish.
• Work with members of ownership and other managers to meet or exceed goals
• Exhibit a hands on approach to leadership
• Ability to work a variety of hours, days and shifts including weekends
