Comprehensive Medicine is excited to offer a unique and dynamic opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team!

We are a well-established, independent Internal Medicine practice committed to continuity of care across various settings. Based in Alpine, CA—just 15 minutes east of El Cajon—we offer both Primary Care and Urgent Care services, as well as mobile house calls throughout San Diego County.

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, versatile, and skilled provider to work in a hybrid role, with a tailored mix of responsibilities based on experience and interest. The role may include:

• Primary & Urgent Care (Alpine Office)

  • Provide in-office care for scheduled primary care visits and walk-in urgent care cases.

  • Utilize on-site X-ray, IV therapy, POC labs, suturing, and strong clinical decision-making skills.

• Mobile House Calls

  • Serve as a primary care provider to patients in assisted living facilities, retirement communities, and private homes across San Diego.

  • Collaborate with third-party providers for in-home diagnostics (labs, imaging, EKGs, etc.).

  • Work closely with facility staff, home health, and hospice teams to provide coordinated care.

This role offers significant autonomy while maintaining a strong support system from our experienced physicians, mid-level providers, and clinical team.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary, based on experience and team fit

• 6 paid holidays and 80 hours PTO in year one, increasing to 120 hours after one year

• $500 annual CME allowance

• Mileage reimbursement for house calls
