Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The technicians are solely responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance activities, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance on site equipment; and are expected to have sufficient knowledge or the foundation of basic operating principles and safety requirements of manufacturing/industrial maintenance. Participate in general maintenance and diagnostics which includes equipment repair, minor electrical repair as well as hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

Requirements:

• Must have reliable and consistent work record.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screenings.
• Ability to complete mechanical repairs, Install and disassemble site equipment, as efficiently and safely as possible to reduce equipment downtime.
• Ability to perform general preventative maintenance (PM) and make equipment repairs, as directed, in a timely manner. • Collates information for preventive maintenance measures by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, breakdowns, and trends.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and Safety Oriented individual.
• Takes responsibility for self-performance (Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently).
• Demonstrates a positive “can-do” attitude.
• Attention to detail. Using a step-by-step process to double check your work.
• Must be able to fulfill company safety and training requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a maintenance technician
• Experience with manufacturing/industrial maintenance experience required. Corrective/breakdown experience preferred
• Troubleshooting electrical or mechanical.
• Electrical 480v 3 phase Not required but a plus.
• Familiar with 277v to 120v AC and 12v to 48v DC and electrical safety. Required
• Facility repair. I.e., Overhead doors, Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), Carpentry, Plumbing, Masonry. Not required but a plus
• MHE (Ground support equipment/heavy equipment) Forklifts, loaders, overhead cranes, yard dogs, lifts and mixers. Experience preferred
• Familiar with hydraulic systems operations and repair.
