About us:

The Virtual Forge is an international company with offices in the UK, Portugal and the US. We are experts at designing and developing data-driven software solutions for the cloud, and we are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our international team and work with one of our prestigious clients in the finance sector until March 2026.

You will be working remotely, with occasional visits to our offices in Hatfield, PA and our clients offices in New York City when required. While remote working is expected, the project manager must be available to work Eastern US business hours.

Role Overview:

The project manager will direct, analyze, and organize project activities to achieve program goals for the implementation of 2 new Regulatory Reporting platforms. Data analysis skills are also preferred as additional support may be needed to analyze test results data for reporting purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Program Owner with the delivery of any project related items.

• Support and maintain the tracking of test data results and report as necessary

• Develop, update, and maintain project plans, timelines, and task lists.

• Identify and support the mitigation project risks.

• Clearly and accurately communicate project status to stakeholders.

• Support data analysis pertaining to test data and JIRA tracking

Essential Skills:

• Professional project management experience required in a business environment (5+ years)

• Financial industry experience preferred (3+ years)

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Organization and time management skills.

• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Familiarity with project management software and tools.

• Data analysis capabilities.

• Solid understanding of JIRA boards and processes
