Job Details

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our operations team. This role is critical to the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, accurate inventory management, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping, receiving, packaging, and operating a forklift.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Receiving:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.

  • Unload trucks using forklift and other equipment.

  • Verify packing slips and purchase orders.

  • Prepare and stage outbound shipments accurately and on time.

  • Update shipping/receiving logs and inventory systems.

• Packaging:

  • Pack products with care and attention to ensure quality during transit.

  • Label packages appropriately based on product type and destination.

  • Maintain a clean and organized packing area.

• Forklift Operation:

  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

  • Move, stack, and organize inventory as needed.

  • Conduct pre-shift inspections and report any issues with equipment.

• General Warehouse Duties:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

  • Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts.

  • Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• 2+ year of warehouse experience (shipping/receiving/packaging preferred)

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one (experience required)

• Experience with WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.)

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems (a plus)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
