Position: Controls Engineer

1st shift

Pay: $90,000+, $2500 sign on bonus

Requirements:

• BSEE or BSME & 3-5 Years of experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and Robots
• Or Associate's ME or EE degree with 7+ Years of experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and Robots
• Wiring up 120, 240, and 480v motors
• Experience programming ladder logic, ACDC motors, Keyance Systems, control panels, and running wire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support production by troubleshooting and programming existing and new plant automation equipment
• Program and design new and existing PLC controls
• Travel to sister plants as needed for completion of core job functions
• Maintain accurate and consistent schedules for projects and tasks for multiple plant projects
• Programming of robots and touching up points as needed to support production needs
• Working with production and process to optimize the flow, cycle time issues and quality concerns through changes in programming or troubleshooting of controls.
• Program and design new and existing PLC controls.
• Help plan preventative maintenance plans for equipment in the plant, both new and current.
• Work to help develop new technology for the plant to utilize in efforts to improve cycle times and quality detection / prevention systems
• Help train plant techs and engineers on controls related skills.
• Create and correct plant electrical drawings for equipment.
• Work with plant teams to help develop accurate quoting models.
