Now Hiring: Shop Foreman / Field Foreman -Structural Steel

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Foreman to oversee structural steel fabrication and field installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel fabrication, welding, and erection, along with the ability to effectively manage a team, coordinate job site activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and lead a team of fabricators, welders, and field installers

-Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications

-Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet project deadlines

-Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines

-Troubleshoot issues on-site and in the shop, providing effective solutions

-Maintain a productive and efficient workflow in the shop and field

-Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience in structural steel fabrication, erection, and welding

-Prior foreman or supervisory experience required

-Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques, welding procedures and field erection practices

-Ability to operate and oversee the use of fabrication shop equipment, cranes, forklifts, and rigging gear

-Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

-Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing job site conditions

-Valid driver’s s license required; ability to travel to job sites as needed
