Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in residential and commercial properties.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems according to specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using tools such as an Ohmmeter.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for system repairs or modifications.
• Design and build custom solutions for unique HVAC challenges.
• Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to plumb new installations or modifications as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals.
• Ability to weld and perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience in property maintenance is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
