Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

· Support all aspects of subcontractor and supplier estimating and bidding processes.

· Process RFP, RFQ, and internal pricing requests and facilitate broadcast announcement of bidding opportunity.

· Work with Project Managers, Marketing, and administrative staff coordinating contributions from all into proposals.

· Ensure the compliance with bidding regulations and goals of the project.

· Develop, prepare, coordinate, and execute presentations and proposals to the client.

· Operate and maintain proficiency in all internal estimating systems, technologies, and software.

· Minimize exposure and risk by implementing quality assurance controls in estimating.

· Promptly report changes and issues in scope.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in related field of study.

· At least 10 years of experience with MEP estimating and understanding of project management efforts.

· A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and how different methods impact costs is essential.

· Prior experience with Construction ERP Software (E-Builder) preferred.

· Experience working with NY City or State agencies preferred.
