• Some basic electrical knowledge for basic troubleshooting.


• Some basic plumbing.


• Some painting experience (interior/exterior).


• Some handyman or maintenance experience.


• Some basic carpentry knowledge.


• Some knowledge of gardening.


• Good knowledge of tools.


• Some patching wall skills.


• Some knowledge of tile installation.


• Some knowledge of masonry and concrete work.


• Some knowledge of flooring finishing.


• Able to read and understand directions to build something.


• Ability to learn fast.

• Communication skills (to interact with clients).


• Interest to learn new things.


• Desire to find solutions to problems.


• Basic general tools (screwdriver set, tape measure, pliers, drills, ladder, brushes, circular saw, hammer, reciprocating saw, angle grinder, utility knife, etc.).


• Own reliable transportation (truck or minivan).


• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.


• Good working cell phone.


• Willing to do strenuous physical labor.

• Usage of any kind of drugs.


• Whining and complaining.


• Unprofessional behavior like not showing up on time.


• Shoddy workmanship.


• Not addressing the root cause of a problem.
